Invitations

I absolutely love doing print design for events, especially for weddings.

In 2019, I designed a variety of things for a couples wedding. I made an invitation, a menu, and photobooth strips (for a DIY photobooth). I tried to keep all of the designs consistent, but not exactly identical.

2019-20 Alex + Amy: Wedding Invitations
Aim: Create wedding invitations that fit in with the blue and white theme of the wedding. The bride wanted the design to be modern with some more traditional components. She wanted it to be classy and fancy.

Aim: To create a menu that matched the invitations. It was a very last minute project, as they forgot about it completely, so I more or less used the same layout as the invitations.

Aim: I also needed to make a photobooth strip design, that fit the theme of the other wedding stationery, but it also needed to be a bit more fun and less formal. This was achieved by sticking with a sans-serif font and clean lines.

Aim: To create a baby shower invitation. My client really had no idea what she wanted, so I quickly came up with a few different styles for her to choose from, and then refined the one she liked most. It was quite a fun project, as I essentially had free reign!
